After falling for the style, Miss Cheek joined the scene and partied hard before settling down to make some of her own beats. Miss Cheek wants hip hop to be more than poetry and sets out to make intelligent music that people can relate to. Behind her style, is the belief that the right attitude can get you anywhere. This outlook came in handy when breaking into the scene. Growing up in the country, hip hop wasn’t the easiest thing to get into. Although getting into the scene was a challenge, Miss Cheek isn’t going anywhere. While QLD local, Devise, makes the beats, Miss Cheek controls the rest, having set up her own studio with the aim of dropping her mixed tape in the near future. Miss Cheek is determined to learn it all and with every gig she proves that she has the skill and passion to make it in hip hop.
