Laura Amos
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"In a word "Bird". I attempt to represent an inherent need to fly away, symbolised in a recurring "Bird" motif. Using a combination of text and simple abstractions my work is generally small in scale, ink and pencil drawings on paper. I explore a common need or desire, specifically relating to personal experiences of those around me". Laura Amos, 2005.
