Gameslab
Have you ever wanted to make your own computer game or learn about how to
get started in the electronic games industry? Then GamesLab is for you.
GamesLab will be presented by Greg Wieder of Carnegie Mellon University and
over the course of six weeks participants will participate in a series of
workshops presented by Greg and other local games experts where an element
of games production is broken down and studied. Participants will work in
teams to create their own flash game by the end of the course. There will be
sessions with local electronic games industry representatives to talk about
how they started up their businesses in Adelaide and at the end of the
six-week Lab participants will be offered the opportunity to tour an
Adelaide games studio to see the set-up and talk about getting into the
industry.
Gameslab is presented by the MRC and AIMIA and is proudly supported by the
SAFC and the Department for the Premier and Cabinet.
