Playfull – Live Performance For SchoolsPlayfull offers students and educators a diverse range of vibrant, high quality, accredited shows by South Australian performers, available to students across all year levels, in both regional and metropolitan areas. Playfull coordinates professional development opportunities for teachers highlighting the benefits of cultural activities for school children while demonstrating how cultural activities can be incorporated into a school environment as well as complimenting the existing arts curriculum. This includes the Playfull Performance EXPO providing the opportunity for companies to present their work to teachers in the way of short performances and demonstrations. In 2008 Playfull includes 29 companies and artists offering performances and, for the first time in a new workshop section, 21 companies and artists offering performing arts workshops. On Saturday 25 October Carclew will once again hold the Playfull Performance EXPO. On at the Odeon Theatre in Norwood from 9.30am – 3.30pm the EXPO offers the chance for you to see excerpts from shows by quality accredited Playfull artists and companies.Lunch is provided at a small cost ($5) and there will be prizes and heaps of fun!
