Join us for the launch of our exciting 2009 Education program.
Season> 5pm Tuesday October 21
Venue> Dunstan Playhouse.

Ghosts
Written by Henrik Ibsen
Adaptation by Nicki Bloom
Synopsis> Most families have their dramas. This drama has one hell of a family.
From the acclaimed author of Hedda Gabler and A Doll’s House, comes one of his most powerful and controversial plays.
The founder of modern prose drama, Ibsen wrote what has become a radical classic, a play of great power. It’s a provincial tragedy, the tale of a world where outer horizons are minute and inner ones infinite, a fatalistic drama for a new age, one in which biology and psychology take over the role of the gods.
Season> October 3 – 25 2008
Venue> Dunstan Playhouse

The Cripple of Inishmaan
Written by Martin McDonagh
Synopsis> Set in a remote island off Ireland’s west coast in 1934, The Cripple of Inishmaan is a grandly comic tale in the great tradition of Irish storytelling.
In the depths of the Great Depression, news reaches the isolated community of Inishmaan that Hollywood director Robert Flaherty is coming to the neighbouring island of Inishmore to film Man of Aran.
The one person who wants to be in the film more than anybody is Cripple Billy, an unloved boy whose chief occupation has been staring at cows and yearning for a girl who wants no part of him. Acting in this movie might just be the escape he’s been looking for – if he can get to the mainland and audition.
Season> October 31 – November 22 2008
Venue> Dunstan Playhouse
