What is ASSITEJ?

ASSITEJ is a world theatre network of theatre for children and young people.

ASSITEJ was established in 1965 by a global alliance of professional theatre for children and young people. Today, ASSITEJ links thousands of theatres, organisations and individuals through national centres in more than 80 countries.
Youth Performing Arts Australia is a member of ASSITEJ International and, as such, provides vital links between Australian practitioners and events, practitioners and activities throughout the world.
