More on Electric Lounge
Electric Lounge is a digital exhibition of the creative talents of young people that will be shown in August as part of the 2008 SALA Festival.
It will be shown in the Access Gallery at the Unley Museum and on the walls of the Unley Library. It will also be shown on the outside windows of the Unley Library at night.
Images and sound will be combined in an electronic collection of creative responses to the theme
of ‘obsession’.
Young people (aged between 12 and 26) who live, work, play or study in the City of Unley, are invited to contribute photographs, film and audio of their obsessions.
Photographs could be of paintings, poems, music, sculptures, films, dance, theatre or even a collection of painted skateboards.
Help is available to assist you to create a digital image of your obsession.
Workshops with professional artists will be held in May where obsessions will be recorded for the Electric Lounge. Please read below.
