Carclew's Arts and Education Program provides a vibrant program of quality arts and education experiences that foster and develop skills and knowledge for arts professionals, educators, schools and their communities. 

Contemporary Music 

The Contemporary Music Program connects children and young people with a very ubiquitous form of expression - music. It is the central station for young people making original sounds, creating, listening, and being involved in music.

Industry Development 

The Industry Development Program is a program of support for young emerging artists, youth arts professionals and the SAYAB funded companies.  

Indigenous Arts & Culture

The Indigenous Arts & Culture Program exists to provide, support and consider the growth of an active youth arts arena that’s designed specifically for the cultural needs of young Indigenous South Australians. 

Lowdown Magazine

Lowdown is Australia’s national youth performing arts magazine. Published every two months, Lowdown covers the astonishingly diverse range of youth arts experiences that are on offer throughout Australia .

Odeon Theatre 

The Odeon is Australia’s premier performance venue dedicated to Children and Young People. Launched in 1986 the Odeon has provided artistic and production opportunities for thousands of young South Australians and is loved by the Adelaide community.

Open House 

The Open House Program engages the community with Carclew as a venue. It provides people with easy access to arts workshops, exhibitions and performances, showcasing the artistic talent and work of children and young people in the Home of Youth arts.

Visual Arts & Digital Media

The Visual Arts & Digital Media Program is committed to the innovative delivery of visual arts and digital media activities that promote play, experience, training, and employment. The projects place a high emphasis on training, employment and professional mentorship.
