October Lowdown Out Now!

The October issue of Lowdown Magazine, Australia’s only youth performing arts magazine, is out now!

In this issue Ursula Beaumont talks to Alex Vickery-Howe and Ken Yamamura about the international collaboration behind the bilingual, cross-cultural rock musical Once Upon a Midnight, which premiered in Australia as part of the OzAsia Festival. October feature: Once Upon a Midnight by Ursula Beaumont

Tapping into a global youth culture Once Upon A Midnight, a bilingual, cross cultural rock musical, was the opening performance at this year's Kijimuna Festival for Young Audiences in Japan and part of Adelaide's OzAsia Festival program. Ursula Beaumont talks with writer Alex Vickery-Howe and translator Ken Yumamura giving an insight into the three year creative process informing this new work.
